Artists reference the world (so far as it occupies the human consciousness) by representation, designation, proposition, and interrelation.

'If You Say' is none of these; it is merely curation.

Many of the layered parts are cut too small to recognize, and half of them were likely too obscure for that to start with, but neither of these factors are meant to make an impression.

These myriad, disembodied grains have involuntarily forgone their origins-- extant as those relics remain-- adopting new allegiances when perceived at their new posts.

Phantom limbs. Ghost necroses. Simulacra cloned. Severed trinkets. Sound soundly butchered and reanimated; faux-tangible minutia constituting something new enough to be named.

This whole, separated all but arbitrarily into 16 slivers, exists only to the extent that those tiny referents are arranged strictly as presented, in spectral stereo spacetime. Without that combination, all the pieces belong solely to their sources, and this whole constitutes a void.
